I am looking into purchasing an '88 740 wagon and doing the Converse conversion.

I don't know if it is my computer or not, but I can only access one topic in this V8 forum.

Any advice or suggestions regarding the swap would be appreciated.

Welome to Sweespeed, John.

Your computer is fine. Just use the "Show active threads" drop-down to "All". This will give you just ACTIVE threads for the specific V8 Forum (two right now).

To find all archived V8 info on Swedespeed just click to

http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerosearch

and play with the search parameters.

BTW, V8 in a Volvo is covered on the www in great detail on other Volvo sites.

Thank you for the Welcome.

You have a very nice, informative community here. A V8 forum is a bonus.

I have always liked the Volvo's, mainly the P 1800's and the 740's....but the 200 series are growing on me as well.

As I have gotten older...with 2 kids...I have gradually gotten out of the Mustang scene and want more of a Q-ship. Plus, you gotta love the Wagons for utility.
