It looks like Power Volvo of Cerritos is closing its doors by next Wed. No a big loss but sure cuts down the choices for places to take my R.

So what are your thoughts on the best dealership (or non dealership) for servicing the R in SO Call?

If anyone already posted this my apologies. Also I am aware there have been threads about SOCAL service locations before but I would like to see a current one with input from current members

Thanks

Re: One less Volvo Dealer in So Cal (Farbon Ciber5)

Sadly its the best of the worst. Volvo of OC is decent, as long as the owner is educated. Irvine is probably dead last. Volvo of South Bay was good for a while, but lately they're service dept is ranking close to Irvine and its a hell of a drive for folks living in South OC.

I'm probably going to continue to take my chances with Volvo of OC, unless I have time to drive to Volvo of San Diego. They would be my first choice....

I have a great indy for my C70, sadly his expertise doesn't cover s60r's.

Bummer to hear this, they used to be pretty good (they also had a lady working there who new her shiznits, but she apparently moved on).

FWIW I was able to send my wife here and not have to worry about getting hosed.

I've used Zen. Excellent service, very knowledgable, very reasonably priced, but one hell of a drive from orange county.
