The last weekend of September has become somewhat of a mecca for many car enthusiasts over the past few years. Originally just a Volkswagen and Audi event, H2O International attracted more cars than ever before, ranging from a Datsun 510 Wagon to a Ferrari F40. Because of the centralized "strip" layout of Ocean City, the event is perfect for cruising and hosting various get togethers in the many large parking lots. This year, a few Volvo owners got in on the action, hosting a small gathering of their own.
The gathering had about 15 Volvos in total, which isn't bad for just their first year. More impressively, this small gathering was in no way representative of the number of Volvos in town.
We saw no less than 20 additional Volvo models cruising the strip of all vintages. By no means is the event something to rival Carlisle in terms of Volvo attendance, but it is a nice excuse to head to Maryland's coast before the weather turns cold.
