Here are the details:

Barcelona
In recent years Barcelona has become a top tourist destination, with its location on the shores of the Mediterranean it enjoys a welcoming climate and pleasant temperatures year round. Barcelona is a city with an extremely wide choice of cultural and leisure activities, cuisine and architectural landmarks. Stroll Las Ramblas, a pedestrian street with dozens of outdoor cafes, small market stalls; singers, dancers, puppeteers and side walk artists. A visit to the Gothic Quarter to see the old Cathedral and walk thru the narrow winding streets lined with small shops and interesting tapas bars. Another point of interest, is the architectural center with Antioni Gaudi’s famous “Palau Guell.” Our four star hotel will be centrally located in the heart of Barcelona's major historical attractions and shopping district.

The Barcelona winter package includes:
Three hotel nights in Barcelona, with tax and breakfast.
Inter-European flights
Two hotel nights in Gothenburg, with tax and breakfast.
Round trip private transfers from the airports to the hotels
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stockholm
The Royal capital of Sweden, a city like no other, built on 14 islands, where you are never far from the water. Well-preserved medieval buildings stand alongside modern architecture. Stockholm is also home of the Nobel Prize. Just outside the city, the archipelago of 24,000 islands waiting to be explored. Visit the many museums, and the Royal Palace. Thanks to the city’s compact size, you can see and do most things in a short space of time, making it a perfect destination. Our four star hotel will be located in the heart of Stockholm, close to shopping, entertainment and Old Town.

The Stockholm winter package includes:
Three hotel nights in Stockholm, with tax and breakfast.
Inter-European flights
Two hotel nights in Gothenburg, with tax and breakfast.
Round trip private transfers from the airports to the hotels.

If you have been thinking about an OSD, NOW is the time to take advantage of a fantastic side trip at an unbelievable value.
William (west coast) and I(east coast) are here to help!

Re: Ole' or Ola? Barcelona or Stockholm? Which will it be? (William)

has volvo fixed the 20/20 cab company problem with picking up volvo overseas delivery customers?
we had a problem with the cab company that picked us up at 08:30 on a sunday morning at arlanda. he charged us, would not let us get out suitcases out before paying him. he wanted cash, us dollars prefered.
the staff at the sas hotel made good for us immediately, and told us we were right in getting out of the situation. they also reimbursed us on the spot.
i will not do volvo osd again unless this is fixed.
i pay upfront.
i expect volvo to be upfront.
and problem free after a 12 hour, total, flight.
hard questions. but you can beat the crap out of me next time you see me.
edit; billy, robin just read this, and it is a real question for us. i'll see you tomorrow or soon. i will lead with my chin

Wow, that is strange. Both times - and 4 taxi rides - I didn't have anyone trying to charge me for the rides to or from the airport. Volvo also picked up the ride from the hotel to the factory and on my last OSD they got a taxi for from the factory all the way to the airport (which is actually a fairly long drive).
Must have been you Hastee

Re: (flybynight)

must have been the Romano taxi driver. several other folks had posted this problem before we left.
the sas radisson paid us back before we checked in that morning and said it had happened several times. we were paid by the supervisor who never even questioned us when she saw the receipt.
on our return, friends who work at the torslanda plant gave us a ride to the airport. we also had the longest tour in recent history, as they had trained virtually everyone on the floor. we did not eat at the factory tour offering. instead we went with about 7 other volvo employees to a pizza place around the corner. so it was ok

Re: (flybynight)

accross from the delivery center, up that hill is a remarkable center for employees that has a huge indoor swimming pool, exercise center (weights, eliptical machines, all sorts of other equipment), as well as a rather small but very good cafeteria. go there next time, the meatballs were almost a good as my grandmother's.
to the west, i think west, anyway turn right, there is an employee's parts house. we bought several of the miniature cars/ diecast type cars for $3.30 each. ostensably for employees only, as our friends had to show their volvo id card at checkout.
we, all in all, had a great time. on volvo's part everything went as advertised.

Hastee..
I know exactly the building you are talling about. Years ago, they used to do the meatball lunch upstairs. I remember seeing the pool full of Volvo employees. (feb. I recall). Rsalesman was with me that time.

What, no Volvo limo anymore?!!
Yes, both of the S80 limos are still around. However, now the meatball lunch is served in the back right corner of the fdc, so no need to take a ride to go to lunch.
