I want to be a test bunny to this

http://www.europeantuningshop.nl/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=15201

but sort of do it myself type of thing. I see that the parts I need are 70mm pipe from the turbo to the MAF but where do I get the blue couplers? Also do I need the samco hose to the coupler? Also where to buy the said pipe? Where do I take it to make the bends?? What else would I need??? What am I missing?

Not in a hurry for that hence I dont have the money but I want to understand these intakes a bit better so I want some input. I will have a lot of questions hence I want to learn..

Looks like one of these...
3" bend

90* silicone hose

And then some sort of turbo coupler. Would be easier thought to make the pipe extend down on top of the turbo and 90* to the MAF using just straight couplers/reducer.

Yeah pipe seems very identical maybe just a tad bit longer then the one you posted. It seems like they used 2 90* silicone hoses and something else for the turbo coupler.

Now the second part you lost me. Haha

Well I am not sure but what I have sum up from that is have for example a samco hose and a pipe going from it to a 90* couple/hose to the maf??

I need a dictionary for all these things :p

OK - I understand - It's just a long standing Item about reading post twice to Fully get Your Head Wrapped around what the other person is saying .

straight coupler/reducer is an all in 1 pc of Hose - usually called a Reducer Coupler , and They can Now be found in 45 / 90 degrees and are Tapered . ( Flow Better )

And then some sort of turbo coupler. Would be easier thought to make the pipe extend down on top of the turbo and 90* to the MAF using just straight couplers/reducer.
He's Eliminating a Coupling that way . You should ask the Manufacture of that Intake to Provide - You with more Detailed Photo's

So how would you eliminate coupling that way? Wouldn't there be more fab work required for that then? I will shoot the manufacturer an email tonight and see what they come up with.

So I sent them an email asking about more details and pictures. Their response was....its very easy to install..... that's it......I sent them another email restating my questions. My guess if they will not send me anything because they want to keep their stuff to themselves lol

185 Euros ($245 USD) is pretty pricey for what you get there. Functionality would be the same as the Elevate pipe, which means you won't experience any performance increases after the installation. Use the money you'd spend on that and get the Injen kit along with the silicone turbo inlet hose from ViVA. Plus, their customer service seems crappy so I wouldn't bother.

Yeah and they are asking another 120 for shipping. What I was aiming to do is build my own. I have to get some measurements now but I think I fully understand how it was build. I will post links of what I came up but could someone get me some measurements while I am at work and they have nothing else to do... What I need is the diameter of the pipe and also the diameter of the rubber tube that goes to the turbo and the 90 bend to the maf diameter. I think I can get all the parts for less then a 100.

Ok here is my list and what I think would work. Please help me out and let me know if I am missing something.

Keep in mind I still have to measure the diameter of these items cant do that till the weekend.

90* http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=3&products_id=31&osCsid=e347b2ab7041cf $16.99
or a reducer that is 90* http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=14&products_id=960&osCsid=e347b2ab7041cf price $19.99
reducer that goes to the stock rubber hose that is connected to the turbo 45* http://www.siliconeintakes.com/product_info.php?cPath=14&products_id=923&osCsid=e347b2ab7041cf $19.99

Now the hard part is finding the right pipe. I emailed some people to see if they can fab me something but still no response. Depending on quality it can go from $40 to $100+

Also I wonder would it be better to connect the hose that is connected to the turbo to a small pipe and then use a reducer just for more security since I dont feel safe having 2 hoses into each other with a clamp.
Something like this http://www.europeantuningshop.nl/index.php?route=product/product&path=1663_1718&product_id=14962 the way that connection is done between the 2 silicone hoses???

Something like that http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=ATP-FLS-103&Category_Code=MDP

K please provide your critical and beneficial input. All comes down to less then $150 or maybe less then that. Same benefit as elevate pipe if not better.

Yes I know its from s60 what I wanted to point our is the ss pipe between the 2hoses. I will use something like that from the pipe reducer to the turbo hose. Also I didn't get the injen intake. Decided to get tint instead. Now just want to try and make my own elevate pipe.

Ok here is a little sketch I did (dont mind the bad handwriting and bad drawing). Also the dimensions are not exactly accurate yet but that's what it looks like in my mind right now.
