So I was doing some spirited driving after taking out the R to get ready for inspection. The oil hit 244 degrees. The coolant stayed at 219 and the trans hit 224. The outside temp was 86 and humid. I did have the AC running and the windows open.
Can’t wait to install dougy’s external cooler setup to compare temps.

That's pretty normal for spirited driving. Gustav can tune the ECU (radiator fan) so that the cooling won't go above 203 degrees. That should help keeping the engine oil a bit cooler also.

Thanks for that info. When everything is installed then I’ll reach out to Gustav for the tune.

Yeah. It works really well. He also "messed" with the afterrun. The fan sounds like a jet engine after you stop the engine. LOL
