Oil Capacity

I have 20K on my V70R. The thing eats 1.5qt of oil every 5K miles. Always has, since new. Ticks me off, the last 3 cars I had I never had to worrry about adding oil. Must have some sort of imperfection from the factory.

And I only get 17MPG in city driving. Don't have the foggiest idea how others get over 20MPG in city driving.
