Glad to hear that you are enjoying the change from 19s to 18s! It was a pretty significant change in my view. I upsized the tires for the smaller wheels, so the overall change in circumference is very small. At one point, I actually did the math and realized that the difference between the two sizes is something like ~0.7% which turns out to be less than the difference between new and worn tread on the original wheel size, so I haven't bothered with getting any updates to the software. I thought I saw an OrBit screencap that showed a drop-down selector for tire size. As a side note, I'm always amused by the reviews on TireRack about people complaining about decreased fuel mileage after getting new tires. Duh, they have larger diameter, so you get more distance per revolution...

Yeah, I was just looking at my car a day or so ago and thinking: Yuk, time for a wash! My mode of use for the car doesn't help this much - I tend to ride my bike to work when the weather is nice and take the car when it's rainy. So, basically my car gets dirty pretty much every time it comes out of the garage :(.

Went from 19s (summer wheels) to 18s (winter wheels) myself and all i can say is the ride is much more compliant on New England roads! One down side is, I can’t clean the barrels of the wheels one bit with how big the front brake rotor shields are but oh well!

Sure you can, get a Speed Master Wheel Brush!
Speed Master Wheel Brush
Since getting the new wheels I have noticed much less brake dust. Saving this brush in case it comes back.

BTW I followed your link and this emergency seat belt cutter window smasher 2 pack was listed as a similar item to consider. one of the selling points: "Designed to help escape from a sinking, over-turned, crashed, or burning car"

All of which makes me wonder, what happens if the wheel cleaner does not work? <passengers all grab smashers, break their windows, and then run for the hills>?

Hmmm... I've always chuckled over those "emergency free yourself" type of devices. I've always figured that if you were in an accident and unable to undo the seat belt or open the door, you were probably too far gone to escape on your own anyhow. Maybe I'm just being cynical

When I used to travel more, I kept stuff like that in my car. Not just for me, but to potentially help others. I need to think about doing that again. Make a new kit.

Ah, I was thinking about they way they are positioned on the television commercials: free yourself. Looking at this from the perspective of helping others makes way more sense to me. I usually have a collection of tools, pliers, folding knives, etc in the car with me, so I've got that covered as well.

Pm me if you want to make deal for the roof rack and carrier. I'm in the gta too!
Ok...let's see how it plays out. I ordered another car and won't be here 4-6 weeks. If I don't sell the car as package deal, I'll PM ya about the rack and carrier. I also have a big brake kit from Andrew @up brakes...a member here on the forum. He designed / built specifically for our cars...still in box.

Cheers
