So I was cleaning my wheels today and I noticed they have "lug locks" on them. I don't have the "key" for them I know this might be a dumb question, but I'll give it a shot....Are all Volvo Locks the same?? Can I just shoot down to the dealer and get a new key??

Re: OEM Lug Locks (s60rdood)

I don't think they are the same. If I remember right mine came with a code just incase you loose the key, they can order one with that code. Also when I had work done the dealer needed the key so I assume they aren't all the same.

Pat

If it fails your only out $15.
If it has to be drilled, why not drill a hole smaller than the diameter of the bolt (but big enough for the torque needed, reverse tap it, then put in a reverse threaded screw, it'll tighten and eventually should loosen the the actual bolt. You should never have to put anything in contact with the rim.
Pat

It's long shot but give them a call if your local Volvo dealer can't help you.
ps. As others have said, most Volvo dealers have sets of all the keys, I think there are only 16 or so variants.
Good luck.
LTA

It kinda looks like one of those will fit, I know it's pretty hard to determine from just a pic, but it really looks like one will fit, hopefully, I really wanna throw some spacers on there, and got angry when I saw there were locks on them and I had no key.
