Insurance Companies are regulated state by state, and that is not everywhere. I spoke with an adjuster from Progressive yesterday about a car that had damage to the ac condenser, and the windshield from road debris. Although they authorized the OEM condenser, he said that they flat out do not use OEM glass for windshields. They would contract out with Safelite or the like to replace it. Good luck with your windshield. |
