you aren't spraying INTO the IC, it sprays the surface area (fins) to cool the intake charge.

even if it was piped into the IC it wouldn't be strong enough to pressurize the air to cause unintentional boost.

that being said, a well designed and installed nitrous system is no more or less harmful to any engine. a dry shot of up to approx 50-65 would do well. and anything over that i would suggest a wet system. i've run a nitrous works system in 2 of my past cars without any ill effects. if you think about it, turbo'd engines in general are designed to work in high stress, high combustion chamber environments. and thats what a shot of nitrous is introducing. our turbo's are introducing a higher content of oxygen into the engine that a NA car is able to do. essentially the same as a nitrous system
