Has anyone put NOS in a T5-R? Do they make kits for this? Is it worth it? Let me know of your experience.

It exists, I have never seen it in a car, but Eastern Aerospace makes a NOS Kit for Turbocharged Volvos
http://www.easternaerospace.com/automotive/engine/

They claim 30-40% hp and torque increases, it is about $600. I personally would also buy the progressive timing kit, sure it costs $495. But hey, if you want NOS, you should get the timer. Also, I heard it would seriously lessen the life of your engine
Be Warned... I have heard almost nothing good about Eastern Aerospace. Just an opnion... but I have heard my share of bad ones.

I beg to differ..they ARE GOOD at claiming high (ridiculously high) HP gain from their upgrade packages.
yeah, sorry austin, I think your sources may have been mistaken. Every thing I've read about Eastern Aerospace on other boards and articles, has been a + to them, o well... we all hear different things. I have a torque converter from them, it works fine... of course that 1/2 second thing, is total crap, it took off about a 1/4 second off my 0 to 60.
Personally I think EA has good parts, however their downfall is exteremly overestimating the performance they will add, other than that the parts are good, and the prices are decent, and if anyone puts a nos kit on their 850 Turbo or R make sure to post I am really interested.

I know a guy named brad who put a 75 shot in his car. 25 to intercooler, 50 to intake.
you should check http://www.volvotuning.com
and look under forum, but his car is also the "car of the week" so you'll see it as soon as you enter the site.
Check with him, but i know he loves it.
I was looking to put NOS on my old volvo (960) and the one place I found that wouldn't damage the motor like most NOS system will is Zex. I never did buy it because I got the 850R instead, but I heard it was my best bet...Just another opinion
