I'm in the process of installing a boost gauge on my 2.5T in preparation for 'training' for a new TCV but also to see the impact of Stage 1 PPC when that arrives. Is anyone familiar with the boost levels that are normal or typical on the 2.5Ts? I understand it's a 'low pressure' turbo, but what would be a normal range for this setup?

Thanks bp. I got the boost gauge installed today and the boost levels are exactly as you described. At light throttle accelerations, I see like 5 PSI but then past about 1/2 throttle and 3K RPM jumps it's into the 8-10 range.
I really like you Air Vent gauge idea, but will need to keep my full cold air flow for the massive heat we have down here...

Re: (twowheelin)

Yea no problem man. And thanks for thumbs up on the vent pod. But, I'm not trying to change your opinion or anything but, there is actually still a very good amount of air that gets blown through the vent. I can feel the air blowing pretty good when I'm driving and the A/C on full. I'll wait for the others who I made a pod for to recieve and I will ask them their opinion on how much air they feel.

Got some new boost readings with the EST Stage 1 tune! The boost starts off at about 4-5 as low as about 1600 RPM or so and climbs to 10-12 quickly at anything over about 2200 or so. 14-15 PSI peaks are there whenever pushing the and gas pedal a little harder past about 4K RPM. THe difference is quite amazing!
