An incredibly cheap set of thors. Given the description, I wonder if these are the actual wheels in the picture. 100 bucks for the set.

An entire 04 gobi interior for 200 bucks. If you have the space, it's not perfect but may be a good buy.

A set of neptunes with tires for 200. Damn. Where were these a few weeks ago?? Wouldn't matter - that's a hike for me.

I'm curious why this isn't being marketed on SS... especially considering the audience knows this R and appreciates the rarity.

Chicago.... what's your impression of the condition? How come this is not in you signature title by now?
$4500 seems very fair. I'm sure a hand full of folks here could manual swap this beast over the weekend.
I can't speak as to why the owner didn't list it here, but I did consider buying it for my GF which is why I didn't post it right away. However, a P2R moves her away from all the things she likes about her current vehicle, a Honda Civic -- great MPG, low cost of ownership, and the anonymity of a common car in a common color.

Also, the ad is now deleted. Anyone here?

Where is bearclaw when you need him??
I'm not sure what you told her, but you should be selling this long before it comes up for sale.
great MPG? CHECK!
low cost of ownership? CHECK!

Perhaps that was best to pass. I personally would hesitate to recommend any R to someone I know. I'm sure it needed some sorting, as they all do. Even mine needed $2k for a stage 0 at 42k miles.
My gf bought a XC70 and I purposely didn't push for it, but helped once she knew what she wanted. I didn't want to hear about it later. The dude abides.

That's almost exactly how I feel about recommending Volvos. I love them and enjoy them, but I know they aren't Civics, so I'm a little slow to jump up and say, "You gotta get one of these." Double or triple that concern about an R.

That's right... I always say... I don't drive them because they're reliable. Thats why I have 3.
I love watching those "what's the most reliable car" commercials.... You don't see Volvo doing those... lol.

On netflix now. Just watched Tuesday with our kids who had never seen it. 20 and 18...

I recommend new Volvos but when it comes to used ones that have been well used I always give a word of caution.

I also don't drive Volvos because they're reliable. I drive them because I love them. If one breaks down I just grab my backpack and move to the next one lol.

Nice! I'm overdue for my annual Lebowski fest.
I'll try to keep pace with the Dude on white russians... but I've heard its tough.

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Anyone ever made it to a Lebowski Fest? https://www.lebowskifest.com/

One of the first times I got so drunk I was violently ill was on WR and haven't had the appetite for them thereafter. Of course, nothing like me and tequila!

And thanks to this quote, I'm watching it too... who knew SS had so many Lebowski fans.

ha! "Safe and unrealiable" should be their new slogan. Let's pitch it to the Chinese.

Haha....
Slightly reliability.... damn safe, and occasionally fast.
Still love these under appreciated sleepers. But the T5 is taking a break with a bad alternator at the moment.
