Hi,

I have a 2003 V70 T5. I have a strange "swishing" noise coming from the front of the engine. I can hear it best when listening right at the front passenger side tire. It keeps in time with engine rev. and can be heard inside the car faintly while driving (when the engine is at low rpm) I had the timing belt changed at a Volvo dealer about 3-4 months ago. I imagine that service would include a new serpentine belt as well as the timing belt. (serpentine looks new) This noise has just started in the last week or so. No lights, or driving change. it does crank a little longer to turn over. That is the only thing I can tell different than normal.

Let me know if you need more info, and thank you for any help you can provide.

I have ordered the IPD serpentine belt tool, and will check each pulley manually. hopefully it will arrive before the weekend.
