I can't speak for those specific tires, but I have Nitto NT555 ZR's on my car right now. Nitto has been good to me so far. They wear slowly, are very quiet, and feel good through the hands (if you know what I mean).
Before the Nitto's, I had Toyo Proxes 4's and they don't come close to the Nitto's. They wore very quickly and got very loud early in the tire life.
I tried the Nitto's because my shop here recommended them when I was looking for tires. They're a great shop that deals primarily with Volvo. They are an official IPD installation shop too. I trusted their advice and am very happy with Nitto so far.
Thanks guys. I appreciate the suggestions but I'm pretty sure I want to go with Nitto as I've only heard good things. I'm not quite sure how the ratio plays out, but I have the 7.5" wide tires and am running 215/45/18R Pirelli P-Zeros. I'd like to go with a 225/XX/18R tire. I'm not sure how to tell what size sidewall to go with as I don't want the tire to be smaller than what I have now. In fact, I'd like it to be a little larger. Any ideas?
edit* the Neo Gen from Nitto looks pretty good for my negative camber issues.
Nitto's are good I had them on my '89 Civic very grippy and quiet. I am not sure about tire wear because I sold the car within a few months that I got the new wheels/tires...
I was going to suggest you the P-Zero Nero's I had them when I was running 18" and I love them but I guess you already have experience with them. IMHO I would get P-Zeros again.
Toyos' I had them on my Subaru FXT and I couldn't stand the road noise. My current setups are Falken 512 on the FXT and General Exclaim UHP on my S40 both are pretty good for the price and the signs of wear seem normal.
Hope this helps.
Oh as far as size goes you can run 225/40/18 with no issues at all.
