I just purchased a S60 and I'm new to this forum (I'll pick it up on Thursday). Since I've owned VW's for the past 10 years, I'm not very familiar w/ the Volvo parts market...
For the standard S60 motor, is there a chip available and from where?
Does anybody make a custom leather steering wheel wrap? (leather interior, but no leather on the steering wheel, HMMMM)
I also would like to get the foglights and the accessory cup holder which I assume the stealership will carry, unless any of you have better suggestions...

Hey Mark,
There are several chip manufacturers. Off the top of my head here are several...
IPD - Work with & sell TME chips (Sweden)
GIAC - You can get through AWE or PES. You should know these guys with your VW knowledge.
Heico Sportiv - Made for European market. Be careful here. Good stuff, but use on a US car COULD cause issues.
Which engine did you get?

Ahhh, well in that case, you may want to check with Garrett, though I'll tell you, I doubt chipping the regularly aspirated motor will do much for you.

Yannis, I don't know it for sure, so I tried to be careful how I said that. I know that many manufacturers run different software from market to market. As Heico is presumably developed for European cars, and we don't know anyone running a Heico ECU in their US car, I just wanted to throw up the warning flag.
That's no slight on Heico. From what I've seen, they make top notch stuff.

He sent me an awesome picture of a side shot of his car where the...DUAL sport exhaust (from Heico) is very visible. I loved it but it is a...dream for me (since my wife would not put up with the extra noise that I am sure it would generate .... I am still trying to work her on an IPD sport exhaust (single tip) which may not be as noisy
That dual exhaust is the best looking I have ever seen, in a Volvo; oval tips (like S/V70s) amd slightly pointing outward! Very handsome! I will e-mail you a picture tomorrow, since I have it saved on my hard drive at work. Perhaps you can post it here so anyone can see it.
BTW, Drew was playing (on the Testing Forum) with a "program" on how to incorporate my car's pictures on my signature. I have tried to copy exactly what he wrote but they don't work? Why is that?

Take care,
Yannis
