1. Why on earth are there 6 cup holders in my car? My STi had 1 and half. The half was in the center console that can fit nothing more than a baby bottle. The one is obviously an after-thought and was stuffed right above the radio. I thought Europeans were serious about driving and don't drink and drive. I mean I can barely fit 3 adults in the car, but it feels like I can actually have a full bar inside.
2. Has anyone ever hit the Headrest Fold button by mistake and smacked your backseat passenger on the head? If so, how hard does it hit, and are you guys still friends afterwards?
3. Are those really Brembo brakes? I was told and read that they were, but I found a bunch of online dealer parts sites selling other brands of brake pads for S60R, so I am very confused. I know Brembo has very strict requirements when it comes to servicing their brakes, so mixing other pads is a big no no.
This is it for now, I am sure I have more silly questions later.

Hey there Mr Cool...
First off, welcome.
1 - The cup holders are all neatly tucked away and quite frankly, I never thought that there were too many. My Sequoia has 14 cup holders - now that is too many!
2 - Ah, the auto folding rear headrest. I refer to them as brain bonkers and they are actually quite entertaining when I have my kids in the back seat. Adults are typically not as amused by the brain bonkers as the kids but dont stress, you wont render anyone unconscious or anything.
3 - Brembo brake calipers and yeah they are real. There are lost of options for replacement pads (non Brembo).
Welcome. You live where I used to live in Fort Lee ( I was on 11th St).
You can't enough cupholders. In the front I use one for my cell and one for my beer (just kidding - soda).
By the way, I count 5 cupholders. Am I missing one?

You don't have to change rotors when changing pads, only if they are warped, damaged or less than spec. Volvo has had a longstanding policy of not resurfacing rotors but that doesn't stop people from doing it anyway.

I almost killed my 88 year old grandmother when I accidentally hit the rear headrest fold button. She is fine now, but I am out of the will.

Be happy you have the cup holders we have!
I had a S70 loaner while my car was getting her 22500 service on Monday. It has NO cup holders and I had to drive 35 miles with a hot stainless steel mug in my hand. ( Yes, I'm a big baby )
I don't think the 04s have the two in the top of the center console. I'll have to check at lunch today.
