Hi everyone, I have some interesting updates!

I got this auction that sold a new pair of Valeos with damaged packaging for around 8usd, and I guess they repackaged the blades wrong because they are both 600mm (it's supposed to be 600mm and 500mm for each side).

That aside, I replaced the left Bosch one with one of those Valeos and voilá! No more smudge, no more missed wiper spot, they clean like a charm!

So for now I'll be driving around with mismatched wipers, but they are both wiping flawlessly, so I guess next time I will go with the Valeo ones instead!

Interesting. I purchased A297S and had exactly the same issue (I purchased it to fix the same issue on some older OEM wipers). I will be sure to buy A164S next time.
However, I used the following product to solve the problem.

It simply increases the spring tension and the problem disappears.

I bought this product, after seeing your post. I installed it on my car and now the wiper blade correctly cleans my window. No more streaking! Thanks.

I only use OEM wiper blades. Since new, the driver side wiper always left a 3-to-4 inch streak on the return swipe. Now, with the wiper arm spring putting a little more pressure on the wiper arm, the windshield is clear. The problem is that the OEM wiper arm, in combination with the very flexible OEM wiper blade, doesn't put enough pressure on the window in the return swipe. Other's on this owner's forum have mentioned the same with their cars. Interestingly, with my friend's 2019 V90CC, he's never experienced this with his car.
