Yesterday on CBC Newsworld I saw an ad for the SCC. It was quite the 'cool' ad and the car looked pretty good too. Too bad we'll never see it in real life.<P>On the volvocanada.com site theres a popup sub-site dedicated to the SCC too. Worth a look.<BR>

While on the subject of commercials, has anyone recently noticed the ad campaign for Volvo cars, or lack therof? With the exception of the latest SCC television commercial here in Canada, I have'nt seen any others promoting Volvo's lineup. Volvo is running an S80 commercial featuring an S80 in what looks like the Salt Flats of Utah driving in the shadow of a Skandinavian lounge chair. It's pretty cool.

For as much as they are pushing this car, you'd think they were going to produce it. Wierd. They've already said it's just a concept.

Up here in Washington they are pushing the S60. One talks about how it is the new car that the italians consider sexy, etc. The other is the new S60AWD going all out in the snow. They say you should get one just in time for winter. I wish. I can't even a afford some studded snow tires for the winter much less a new car.<P>
