Was browsing the VolvoSpy forum and came across this pic of a new spoiler that is now on some new V50s in Europe...



I've been trying to find a part number on European Website but I'm coming up empty. Anyone have any info about these?

I show the following pieces as part of the spoiler:

30716689 "Spoiler Left"
30716690 "Spoiler Right"

It looks like they widen the spoiler on the sides to give it the same look in the image you posted, not really sure?

Yeah, they've been around a while, this is the first I've actually seen them on a car.

They are pretty much rain deflectors (rather than aero spoilers). I suspect they simply glue on. I don't think they do much for the car's appearance either, but maybe that's just me.

Went to the dealership this morning to enquired about these 'spoilers'. There was a V50 2.0D on the showroom floor, which had these on the back window. They are indeed just glued to the back window. I kinda like them, and went to parts asking for a price. Pretty hefty if you ask me - they're roughly R1500.00 ($230)

for a pair, and there's no stock available in South Africa. They'll need to import it, and that will take 2 - 3 weeks to get here.
