Miles, condition, options, etc... Would be very helpful to assess if it's a good value and what to look for!

On the mainland that's WAY too much for a private party sale
Why would you want to potential expense of an AWD (problematic) in Hawaii, makes no sense?
If you're off roading, buy a jeep (or similar)
There was no gold special edition unless it's a Saffron colored one
I'm a dealer, I sell 98's with 90K miles and with a WARRANTY for less

For you being in Hawaii, the pickings are probably slim when it comes to finding a V70R, let alone ANY Volvo for that matter. (I was on Oahu for a week last year, drove all over the island, and can't recall ever seeing a Volvo.)
Being that this is a rare car to begin with and very rare in Hawaii, you really don't have much bargaining leverage if you were to try haggling on price.
Don't sit on this too long, as you'll only regret it and kick yourself in the butt if someone else were to buy it.

Also, I imagine that all the ocean salt could have done some corrosion action underneath the car...just take a good look at it to see that it's been kept clean.
