Re: Re: (mad matt)

This is all I have right now fellas. It was an awesome drive! I do not have a V1 I did however make the trip back to Pe Ell in 7 hours. Including picking up the XC90 at the portland airport. I only spotted one police officer and I had more than enough time to decelerate. Chris at Lyle pearson was awesome. Recommended a really nice hotel for the soon to be wife and I. Hotel 43 if you happen to be in boise, the restaurant inside "chandlers" was really good. He also picked us up in a brand new Range rover HSE Sport, and then scared the crap out of us when he drove it on their miniature "proving grounds"! I was quite impressed to see a $110,000 Soccer mom mobile do what it did. Another sweet surprise was when I saw that it had 18" pegs, The salesman and the website said it had 17".
One last thing, what is the interior color called? It's a tan leather?

edit: taken with my black berry storm...

AHhhhhh, Very nice! Now make sure you bring it up the the GTG this weekend (May 2nd).
There are two must have mods here.
1. Remove the Exhaust bracket ASAP!!! It is way to easy to catch it on a speed bump and jam your exhaust up into the drive shaft resulting in many $$$$$$$ to fix.
This is the bracket...

http://www.v70r.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=801
2. JRL Mod. Remove the center resonator and replace it with a straight pipe. The reason.....

Volvo has a kit to lower the resonator but it's a waist of time and money. $50- $80 to remove and replace it.
Everyone on here will confirm this.
Looking forward to seeing youR R in peRson

Re: Re: (AaronP)

Aaron congrats on the R it looks great. I just picked mine up 2 weeks ago from Denver and drove it back to sacramento. You NEED to get a V1. I used mine and it saved me a few times mostly in NV and Cali. I didnt see much traffic especially in Wyoming, i hit triple digits there
Enjoy the car, everyday I drive it I say "Man i love this car"!!! Nothing like people looking at your car wondering if its really a volvo lol!!
