Well I purchased some Michelin Pilot Sports A/S. They are indeed a very nice tire. They have improved the ride in everyday driving becasue the sidewalls seem to be softer than the stock tires. Nonetheless, I'm very satisified with my choice in tires.
Now here is my problem. When Discount Tire installed the tires they did a number on my rims. THey scratched the poop out of em. I informed the sales guy and he asked "what do you want me to do". I told him to get them repaired. He said he would take care of it by scheduling an appointment with the body shop for paint, but I have yet to hear from him and it's been almost two weeks.
Another problem I'm having is some major balancing issues. I've alread taken the car back once for blancing, but I can still feel that something is not right. At hwy speeds there is a slight shimmy in the steering wheel. Any suggestions as to what this might be? I hope it's not bent rotor$.
Finally, would you if you had springs, return the car to stock height becasue of the rear camber issue or would you just rotate your tires often?

This happened to me at just 4 tires, they jacked up one of my Honda Pilot rims. They ended up replacing it. For future, you should find a 'touchless' tire removal shop, you can find them through tirerack. Answer to question 2 would be no, but how bad is the rear camber? If it is -1.5 or less, you should be fine with 4-5k mile tire rotation.

Re: New Tire Dilemma (UNO_RACING)

I have no response to the spring/rotation issue. As far as the balance issue, I'd take the car elsewhere for a good balance. If you can find a place that does it, the most accurate balance is one performed with the wheels on the car (but I know of only one place in my hometown that will do this).
As far as wheel scratches go, the turning radius on this car is so wanting that I have awful scratches on all four wheels now due to my poor memory in this regard--or perhaps I'm just an optimist ....
