Finally got around to a substantial mod (the IPD skid plate and Vizwiz door pins were nice, but not that impressive in a mod list). The Eibach pro-kit springs and IPD sways went on at the end of last week and are phenomenal! I was worried about the ride becoming too harsh, but it's harsh but really not too bad, even on Vermont roads.
Cornering is much improved, without the delay after steering input while the stock setup loads itself. The only problem is that the upgrade now makes the lack of feel in the steering really obvious. All in all, this is a fix I highly recommend!
Oh, and the parts plus install at Almartin Volvo came out to less than half the advertised cost of the Volvo Road Holding and Lowering kit (parts only).

Re: New suspension setup is sweet! (VTT5)

To increase the feeling in the steering, consider installing the Upper Engine Stabilizer Mount Kit and Engine Stabilizer Mount from IPD. Your old engine stabilizer mount will be ready for replacement anyways, they all have a tendancy to crack up.
It will make the steering feel more direct and it's only about 30 minutes work, you can do it yourself (the instructions are fairly easy). Downside is that it will put more vibration on the steeringwheel, especially in the low revs like when idling. If you are very unlucky, it will trigger rattle in the dashboard which is know to drive some people nuts.
Your milage might vary ;-)

Thanks! That helps a bunch. I already have the IPD swaybar set up on front and rear, so was wondering how things would work if I added this. I don't have the quickbrick endlinks (IPD HD in the front and stock on the back) but thinking about getting them for at least the rear, and then the front as time goes on and the fronts wear more.

Thanks for the tip!
