Well, I finally got tired of the OEM shifter and was willing to do just about anything to get rid of it. I went with Momo's Raptor Shifter Nob for my first attempt to find something else. I got it fot $35 so if I don't like it I'm not a lot of money. I really like the way this nob matches the look of the OEM aluminum trim but it seem a little out of place. I think it lack the class that the R desirves. In order to attach it, I cut just shy of 4 centimeters off the the "stick" (not sure of the proper name) to allow the Momo nob to sit down further on the "stick" and not look out of place as well as to get past the OEM pin design.
But like I said it is my first attempt so This is how it sits for now.
Comments welcome.

Re: New Shifter Knob (mad matt)

I think it looks great because it matches the interior. The e-brake handle doesn't match.

Nice MOMO Raptor...creates good colour scheme & fantastic price. I'm also looking for a MOMO Shadow Shift Knob. Interested in CARBON-FIBRE / BLACK AIRLEATHER....it is currently $119+ tax in Canadian.

Re: FV-QR (Spizzy)

very nice actually. for simple reasons.
1. aluminum matches space ball perfectly.
2. what sucks about our interiors is if you have nordkap you cant have a black leather shifter. looks wrong. in your case, you were able to match the damn gobi, which is impressive.
3. not only does it look good, ive owned momos very similar to that in past years and they are GREAT shift knobs. the feel of them is very sporty and just cool.
4. perfect seating; very low to the spaceball.
only 1 CON lol...very light shift knob. I tend to get ones that are solid for the added weight and ease of everyday shifting. but, yours does look cool.
