Damn potholes on I-80 in PA .... got a large bubble in my front right tire and bent an 18" peg ... so I ended up getting these Continental Extreme Contact DW tires. As seen in the close up picture they have a "D" and a "W" and when either disappears it lets you know when the max. grip is gone for the condition - dry or wet. We'll see about that... I was running Michelin Pilot Sport A/S at the time and still have 50% tread on them !!! I will be putting the three tires up for sale in the classifieds in the next day or so after I snap some photos. I've only put on about 150 miles on the new rubber, but so far so good! Less rubbing than the Michelin's ! Here are some pics.
Anyone recommend a wheel repair facility in Northern/Central NJ who can repair in a day (can't be without a car for more than that) ....?

Re: New RubbbeRs (NJ2004S60R)

Nice tires! I haven't changed my tires since I left Germany. The autobahn can tear up some tires. I don't think I need new tires since I don't use the VR as an everyday driver.

Note , in case you are not familiar with these tires: these are summer tires, not all seasons.
Conti replaced the Extreme Contacts with two tires: the Extreme Contact DW (summer) and Extreme Contact DWS (all season).
Good luck!

Re: New RubbbeRs (Needsdecaf)

Yeah I wanted to get some summer tires instead of all seasons since I have another set of pegs with snows for the winter. The DWS didn't seem like they would be as much fun to drive on.
