I'm picking up my new V70 T5 in Montreal next week. I want to sell the 235/45/17 P6's that come with them.
I'm thinking $500 US (plus shipping, unless you pick them up in Montreal), but I'm willing to negotiate.

Will you be able to bring the tires back to NYC(or NYS)?
I know my cousin might want a set of new tires...and he goes to NYC pretty often.

"19382" or "19335". They are both in Pennsylvania. I am a bit interested; I will probably need tires in a few months.
What tires are you getting for your T5?
Yannis

Yannis:
I'll check it out tomorrow and get back to you. What email can I best reach you at. I tried your grecianvolvo address but got errors last week.
Dunno which tires I would get yet. Maybe Pilot Sport ($$$), maybe Yokohama, Maybe Toyo T1....
[This message has been edited by nyerinmontreal (edited 04-07-2002).]

Toyos are pretty good and not as pricey.
Yannis

OK. I look forward to your reply. I'm also seeing if my dealer would simply replace the tires for me... They owe me something now that my car is almost 3 weeks late from promised delivery time.
Mike

Also, please be aware that this delay may not be entirely their fault; all 2002 V70s (FWD and AWD), currently en route to or at the Port of Entry, are going through a "port upgrade" regarding the tailgates. It is a process that can take up to two weeks as every car at the port or currently on the ship will have to be held and be upgraded. So, be patient!
Yannis

I had to go to Volvo Canada to find out the real reason for the delay, as the dealer told me it was a computer update or the like.
Volvo Canada also told me that they delay was longer than it should've been because they had trouble getting the parts from the supplier in Sweden. The good news is that my car has apparently been upgraded, and is due to begin its train ride from the port by tomorrow at the latest. As long as the backlogs they have unloading the trains here in Montreal get cleared up, all should be ok next week....
Anyway, I hope for your sake that it is true!
Yannis

They can't get it till Monday though....
Hope they're not pulling my leg.
