Re: (carreragt7)

Thanks guys.
DGBibo-> It's a "powerblanket". K&N makes these. In danish sorry: http://www.dot-e.dk/auto/kn_powerblanketfacts
kpsingh0-> Yes it's the stock sideskirts.
s40boy-> The Ksports are awesome all though you can't drive around with people in the back seat. "NOFATCHX" stickers are in the making
I have mounted EBC discs and green stuff pads in the rear (not shown in pics). Will be doing the front soon but EBC sent me the wrong pads.

Is that "powerblanket" really effective? You're already getting air from the engine bay and it's going to heat up any way once it's compressed after the turbo.

I've been told the cold air travels faster than hot air so that is a plus as well. It keeps out hot air from the engine bay and get air pushed in from the front of the car.
I agree that it will be heated up going trough the turbo. Really nothing you can do about that as far as I know.
I don't have a dyno showing anything yet but once that is in order we will see
Sanatarium -> I don't know if you're being ironic or not?

Sick car, man!! The intake wraping works, now you might want to consider taking it somewhere for some ceramic coating instead. Love your ride!!!

It just increases the temp of the initial charge, so if that can be lowered by any means possible i.e. heat wrapping/coating intake or a colder source of air the overall charge before reaching the intercooler should be lower temp

I like that style of shark fin on the roof... is there a variant between models that has this one instead of the standard one?

I think 04.5s had that one, but I could be wrong...
