Looking to refinish my 18" Pegs since I have a bit of rash and what not. I was playing with the idea of doing something different. I saw a few pics of a sort of "antique copper" and "dark bronze" kinda look on an IS300 and a GTI/R32. Did a quick photochop (thanks Xman03 for the pic!) What do you guys think?
What I call: "dark bronze"

What I call "antique copper"

Dark bronze looks great! That was actually my original idea up until I couldn't locate the right shade locally and decided to go black.

It's probably too hard to judge from those Pshops. To me, they all look like varying degrees of rust. Based on those pics alone, I'd suggest a can of this...

They just look like brown wheels and we all know that brown belongs on a Camry...not an R.
-Eric

Eh, I'm not really into those colors, they just look dirty more than anything. But, to each his own, I give it an A for originality, that's for sure. If you like it, who cares what anyone else thinks!

Both would look great as a Winter wheel - much better than Black, IMO, on a black car. Not so sure for a Summer color. Still has to grow on me. The lighter, the better for a non-Winter, IMO.
Re: (Husker Z)

Done properly with some type of glossy finish (not flat) I think either one would look ok when clean.

How about a Roy Lichtenstein-ish graphic overlay?

-Eric
