I've been lurking in the R forums for about six months or so because I thought I might purchase an R.<br>Ended up buying an 02 S60 T4 today. Very Clean. 96K. $7100. Silver w/ tan interior. Heres the CL ad.http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/813637195.html<p>As the title says, there was no manual. I have many questions but I will start w/ some basics.<p>1. How does the memory seat/mirrors work? How do you set them and what should I expect after I set them.<p>2.How do you set the buttons on the visor to work w/ your garage door opener.<p>3.Any secrets for the keyless fob? Will it open the windows if you press it three times while jumping on one foot.<IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"><p>4.Strange noise when I turn the car off coming from the HVAC. I believe I read while lurking that this is normal and is cycling air through to expel odors in the condensor.<p>5.Any other info you would like to share I'm happy to learn.<p>I'm off to do more searching while waiting for your answers.<br>TIA.

You need to press mem and 1 or 2 or 3 depending in which one do you wanto save. I less words, that save your driving seat position and the mirros.<p>2. I dont remember, i think you need to press the button of the garage door control and the one of the visor, which one dont remember but you can try.<p>3. no is not a vw lol<p>4. Normal

Ok was able to set memories in the seat. One problem though. The psg. side mirror only wants to go up. Is there an easy fix for this?<p>It also seems that sometimes the drivers seat moves after I shut down the car and get out then come back to get in. What's up w/ this?<p>Still having issues trying to set the garage door opener.<p>I could not find the door jamb tag for tire pressure. What tire pressure for the 17" rims?<p>Again TIA.

I noticed the steering wheel "sqeeks" when I turn it slowly. I assumed that it was just plastic rubbing. I also noticed a vaccum or boost noise under power. As I done some searching and reading I have found that the squeek may be a loose rubber boot where the steering wheel shaft enters the engine bay and that this also allows the boost sound to enter the psg. area. <br>Am I close on this?

Thanks for the help. I was able to set the garage door and memory seats.<p>Again the psg. side mirror only goes up and out when a memory is pushed. Any fix for this other than disconnecting the power from the psg. side mirror?
