Im in love with another, my volvo is very upset and jealous, but it just cant compete. 300 hp, natural leather seats, sleek lines, all wheel drive, cool new paint colors, nicer wheels, How should my 850 ever expect to compete. Now I just need to talk my father into letting me get the new V70R, thats the perfect car for me next.
also I was wondering if anyone had used those auto paint pens for touching up cars, Im thinking of getting one and then buffing it out afterwords to smooth things over. Is it worth it, or will I just make things look worse. Thanks.

Re: New Love (pj's 850)

Not to get too far off-topic, but if you hear anything back about the paint pens, could you let me know over in the detailing forum? I asked about them, too. I have some nicks & scratches that need touching one...and one's a doozie (2" long gash from a concrete hunk, right on the top/front of the hood -- sheesh). The one "fix" that I saw (that someone was kind enough to post in response to my query) was far more severe than my gash, so it was kind of hard to gauge just how well the paint pen performed. (Their gash was beyond just needing paint. Mine is borderline...good paint job COULD fool the eye, if you're not looking to closely, I think. But I don't want to risk gumming it up even worse using a paint pen if they are total crap, you know.)

Yeah that is pretty tempting!
I wouldn't mind a S60R, but then I look that hound dog expression and neck-thrashing 142hp my GLE puts to the pavement and a warm fuzzy feeling of gratification takes over. Buddy, you made it!
S60R... R you kidding me!?
Hahaha, yeah, I love the new R too.
Oh, I'm kinda with Lisa, wait till someone else tries the pencil. A friend in high school tried it on a red 84' berlinetta camaro and it turned the rough areas pink! Mind you the clear coat was peeling off and the paint was totally thrashed and unsavable. Likely there has product advances sinse then too so really I'm in the dark to of it's affectiveness.
