Found this link, thought you might want to check it out for those of you who are into Jag.
http://pc99.detnews.com/autosinsider/sneakpeek/index.hbs?myrec=29

After seeing the R-coupe concept, I can't believe the new XJ is going to look like that. (Maybe I should wait for the first clear photo though.)
To tell the truth, as much as I like Jaguar, I think Ford is not doing very well with Jaguar. Sure, the sales are up, but cars like the X-TYPE and the S-TYPE, in terms of styling, performance, and quality, does not really stand out compared to their German competitors. I can help but to think what would happen if Jaguar is to be sold to VAG under Audi control -- that would be sweet!

The new Jag does not impress me. I know I am in the minority, but I think the 7-Series is the best-looking car out there (please don't everyone throw tomatos at me at once ). The Lexus design is dryer than a bag of dust (although a great car). The Benz while handsome is getting old and is not done any favours by the fact that the C-Class looks like it. The A8 is nice looking, but I will have to see it in person. The Jag is too boring. Right now, of these vehicles that turn my head when I am driving is the 7-Series.
I was actually very excited about Reitzle leading PAG. I was looking forward to a new line of Volvos, Jags, Rovers and especially the new Astons. Especially once he got his hands on the Vanquish interior, but alas, well done Ford, think with your accountants and not your engineers. The F-Type and the Coupe were deadly, now I wonder if we will ever see them. Probably not, they have to dedicate resources to making a vehicle bigger than the Excursion!!!!!

In that league, I think I'd take the A8. If this is it, there's not a whole lot of difference between it and the current car visibly. Plus, the X-type used the XJ look also, so it's beginning to look a bit overdone.
My take on the X-type was that it is an interim car, to get them through to the shortened DEW platform (next gen Mustang and possibly next gen RWD X-type).
The current S is nice, but it's only a 1st generation car, so I think it has room to move.
The new large Jag should be somewhat groundbreaking and I agree that I'm not so sure this is it. Granted, it's a spy photo.
