Hi everybody I'm Leon from The Netherlands I'm 22 years old and a member from the Dutch Volvo-forum, I bought a Volvo V50 MY04 2.0D with about 100K miles in januari.

While surfing on the internet I found your great forum! and learned a lot that wasn't on the Dutch Volvo-forum.

I think it's great that most of you drive the faster turbo engined volvo's http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

In The Netherlands we drive almosty diesels ( the V50/S40 are most of the time company cars )

Hey Leon, welcome to the forums!

Hi Leon,

welcom to swedespeed! IMO , that 2.0D (with 6spd) is real sweet!!!

Most of us drive that T5 you mentioned ... because US spec this is all we get! or the 2.4i No diesels

there are several US volvo diesel fans here, to include myself, oldman, and dieseljt... and a lot of us actually prefer YOUR motor!!! so be proud http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

I lived in your country for a few months... got to say great cheese, shoes, and coffee shops

oh... and I actually climbed the tallest "mountain" in Holland around a nose bleeding 352 meters?

You're English is fine man, no worries. Plus, we all speak Volvo, and that's a universal language. Brows the forums, see what you like and what you don't, and let us know if you have any questions...

Ooh no diesel's in the states ? why not ? to bad you got to miss the D5's that's a great engine, to bad mine is only a 2.0D

mayb we can swap our cars, i get the T5 and you my diesel
