Hey everyone!
Just picked up my shiny red '97 850 GLT this week! Only 90k miles and in great mechanical condition. I'm just taking care of a couple small cosmetic things this month before taking on the bulk of the upgrades next month.
Anyway, some new husky floor mats and window tint are all a must but I've got a little extra cash left over. I'm thinking either a eurosport strut brace or samco tubes but can't decide what to do first. Thoughts?

Welcome to SS!!
I would save up for IPD sway bars for your first mod. They will transform your ride - for the good - of course!

Thanks for the welcome and the advice! Sway bars look awesome. To be honest I'm already really impressed with the way it handles (too many years driving an SUV) so I can't wait to see what the sway bars will do

They will make you grin from ear to ear. My mod route usually starts with suspension or exhaust. I like a good handling car before adding power.
Also doing a stage 0 would be good.

I like the sound of that . Definitely going to work through a full stage 0 and I definitely agree about starting with suspension / exhaust. Exhaust will have to wait for a couple of months tho.
Well the good news is I replaced the plugs with NGK Iridiums today and WOW what a difference. Much, much smoother. It looked like the plugs hadn't been replaced for some time but even with that i was surprised at the difference it made.
Bad news is she seems to have sprung an oil leak so i'd better take care of that before I move ahead with the sway bars

make sure the timing belt has been done.
I just did mine for the first time at 131k. I ran into the former owner in a bar, and she told me it had never been done.
