Hi all!

My name is Michele (Michael) I'm 21 and i'm italian. I live in the north west of Italy. In the area of the lakes, not far from the city of Milan.

I read Swedespeed for a long time and i find it interesting and complete. Very compliments to all for this very good forum http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

I'm also member of italian volvo forum (volvoclub.it) obviously is not big than Swedespeed but is ok http://********************/smile/emthup.gif, and represents the most important gathering of italian volvo lovers

So. I present you my volvo(s)

My baby is the S60R
http://********************/smile/emcocktl.gif
Is a 6 speed manual gearbox titanium grey, atacama interior
Optional: 18'' Titanium Pegs, RTI, HU 850 and GSM Telephone.

Actually it has 21'000 km (13'000 miles). I love this car and i think that i will never sell it

Moreover in Italy it is a very rare car. From April 2003 to August 2007 in my country have been sold only 77 S60R!
more rare than a Ferrari!

The other two, is my Granfather's 945 Polar and the new Xc70 D5 of my dad

So. this is my volvos, or better my passion

Sorry for my bad english

Regards to all Michele http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Re: New from Italy (deerok)

Benvenuto Michele!! Di dove vieni vicino di Milano? La mia famiglia viene da Sora, provincia di Frosinone. Che bella R!!! Ti piace? Come la 4C in Italia? Qui in USA, non posso guidare in moda "advanced" perche le strade sonno cosi male? Scusi, il mio italiano non e il melgio!

Forza Juve!

Umm....

Can I vacation at your place?

You have a home in California if you ever come here.

I'll bring your car a present as a bribe.

Wow! Beautiful cars, beautiful landscape. My great grandfather Balsamo is from Termini Imerese in Sicily. I have yet to have the $$ to fly there, but hopefully someday. Your wheels on your R look PERFECT with that color, by the way.

Re: (QnsMostWanted)

Welcome to Swedespeed! I was just in Milan about 3 weeks ago...would have been nice to see your R flyin' around. I actually did 2 weeks in Europe on business...Italy, German, Austria, Greece and Switz. Only saw 2 R's the entire time (both V70R's, both in Geneva, and both within 10 minutes of each other...after that, nothing....Ferraris, M5's, M3's, S4's and Porches, on the other hand...dime a dozen....Congrats, that's a beautiful set of cars, and a beautiful home, in a beautiful country. Viva Italia!

Re: New from Italy (juve021)

Ciao Juve!

Your italian is very good http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

During the week i live in Novara (a city at 20 minutes to Milan) due to studyng reasons
(i study in Milan) And at week-end i return to home, that is near Stresa a characteristic city on the Lake ''Maggiore''

The R is fantastic, i can drive for 400 km and get out fresh and relaxed http://********************/smile/emthup.gif or i can run and feel the road almost like a sporty car

I love the R. Is a really ''total'' car

The 4C is a very good system, but unfortunatly in Italy we have a very good roads to view (for panorama) and to drive but not always in good condition of pavement
then i drive often in ''comfort'' or ''sport''. ''Advanced'' only in rare time

(Ah! Juventus is my favorite soccer team
)

Michele,

I'm going to say that your English is WAAAYYYY better than my Italian. I can totally understand/read it but writing and speaking is a different story.

Yes, I have heard of Novara before. My wife and I travel to Italy often as we have an apartment a Chiavari and my family's house in Sora, (campagna http://********************/smile/emthup.gif) Actually we were just at Lake Como and have been to Lake Garda too.

Yeah I figured about the 4C and advanced since most of the roads I've been on have been rough, except for the autostrada. I wish I could drive my R on the autostrada....ahh I can dream!

Haha, a tifosi of Juve!!! They fizzled out at the end of season this year...time for change. Hopefully next year we can win the scudetto.
