Instead of purchasing new Fog-lights like the ones from IPD would it not be just as bright and much less expensive, by just adding some yellow LED bulbs into my stock fog-lights and maybe even removing the glare guards to make them like driving lights ?? If anyone had done this, please share your experiences. Thank you for reading and sharing any info. God Bless !!! :)

I tried this and it wasn't much brighter. Tried with h3 led and led bulbs with drivers. Didn't do much. Best bet is hid conversion.

I installed the "BRIGHTEST LEDS!!!" in my fogs on my C30.

I don't think they're even as bright as the stock halogens.

This is the correct answer, if you want bright, is to install HIDs. It's a pretty easy install to do.

If you do go HIDs, though, I'd make sure that your fogs are appropriately aimed.
