Supposedly Monroe is running a buy three get one free deal right now. I saw it on an add for them. I haven't found the exact right rebate forum but you guys can help me search.

The terms I saw said its via rebate, but who cares.

This would mean you could get all four shocks for about 9xx shipped to your door depending on where you buy from.

I think all four need to be on the same receipt so rock auto is out for at least the wagon guys I do not know if they have backs for the sedan guys.

This place looks promising
http://www.justsuspension.com/. Free shipping, and they have a couple of cupon codes if you look on retailmenot.com

Might be nice just to have 4 new ones in the garage ready to go when needed. I already got 54k on the stock ones. Wish I had a grand lyin around

I have 104K on my originals :D but ditto about having an extra grand, that would be helpful.

Monroe uses a lot of promotions as a sales stagey. Google "monroe 2012 promotion" before buying
a Monroe product and you can often find a sale or some sort of rebate in progress. Or look for them from
the previous year to predict when they might do it again. Example is "shocktober fest" in October.

Here I see there is a promo for Canada but the same U.S market promo has expired:

Note they leave the promos up so people can download the forms -- you have to note
the dates pretty carefully. But that is a good page to watch if you are looking for shocks
in the future.

Total would be $945.46 after shipping (they cut you a rebate check in 8-10 weeks).

Without shipping, it would be $900.07

Not a bad deal!

BTW, the same struts are listed at slightly lower prices, but ship from the UK so it's crazy expensive shipping...

And if you look around on the net it's easy to find RockAuto coupons, usually for 5% off.

EDIT: JUST REALIZED THE LINKED REBATE IS A YEAR OLD.... BUMMER!

107K on my originals... they don't feel "like new" but they are sure nowhere needing replacing unless they suddenly get much worse...

I'm hoping to also get ~100k on my originals. Don't think I'll have to replace my rears for quite some time, so I'd prefer to just buy two if I ever need to. Needless to say, that's a nice deal for the right person.

Ugh... I was so excited for a sec :(... I was about to order shocks and was buying used rears. This would have covered the purchase of new rears along with new fronts.
