2013 Wife lost her key. We have a spare, but need to replace the lost key. Dealer wants $400 for new one. Anyway that I can get one for less?

Only dealers can provide and code new keys to your car. That’s part of the security around one of your largest assets you may own.

Whilst you can buy bits and pieces to repair and replace pieces of your key, any new key cannot circumvent the immobiliser unless the car is programmed to recognise the key. And that can only be done on new keys.
