Hi everyone,
Back again almost a full year since my first big issue and we have another!
I want to give you all the full context so here is the situation. A few weeks ago I had the cars battery tested at advanced since the car was starting strange. The starter would engage, stop or slow down, then start the engine. Additionally it was more ticky and had a rougher idle. Anyways I had a 730CCA H6-46 battery from advanced so I went in to talk to the guy after the alternator starter and battery were deemed okay and it had seemed as I was given the wrong size battery. I got a 900CCA H8-AGM battery. That worked but did not solve the starting issue and with all signs pointing to it, when I scanned all the big modules with my scanner (not VIDA) it came up that I needed the exhaust cam position solenoid. Cool, so today I bought it and installed it.
The car started weird again but ran beautifully, and after letting it run for a few and messing with the revs I turned the car off. I did start the car again pretty much right after just to double check and shut it off after running it for 30sec-1min. I went inside for about 5 min and when I came back the car wouldn’t even: turn over throwing a “Brake failure stop safely” message and a “Immobilizer see manual” message along with some fun lights including a static ABS light along with mostly all of them.
This is when I mean I tried everything, disconnecting the battery, plugging it back in, getting another 730CCA battery, putting the old part back on then resetting it, checking the CEM connections, and a million different unlock and lock combos to try to disable to immobilizer. I need some help so I’m hoping I can get some tips on how to disable this stupid immobilizer.
thanks!!!

Try pinning the brake pedal down with a piece of wood wedged against the driver's seat and starting the car from the passenger side.

My 2013 did this once when I had left it sitting. I started it and moved it but left the car in KP2 while moving another vehicle in my driveway.

Came back, tried to start and had to put the NOCO back in it to start. But it refused.

Similar warnings. Immobilizer, no key detected, etc. So, I put my hood prop (I have a telescoping prop for customers cars) on the brake pedal against the driver's seat. Put the key in the slot (P3 mind you) and it fired right up.

I really can't think of a good reason for that to have worked and in fact, I'm not exactly sure why I tried it. But maybe its worth a try.

Also, make sure that your battery connections are all tightened.
