My test drive was in a Red bodykitted R with Ti Pegs and a Nordkap interior. Let me tell you, it was very temping ... I just wasn't sure if I would get sick of the red or not. It really was a beautiful car and probably would have been my second color choice.

Since my dealer was able to locate a Sonic Blue already on the water about 2 weeks away, the wife and I opted for that. They actually pirated the TI wheels off of the red test driver car for mine (since mine came in with the brights) and swapped them. I did not think the red looked nearly as aggressive with the brights. Aggressive looking cars are my taste ... I couldn't be happier with my wheel choice, plus they are much more maintenance free when it comes to brake dust (an addded bonus!).

Flybynight, stupid question...but why do you have two plates on each end of your car?

European plates. I got the car directly at the factory in Sweden.

Umm, one of the salesman at another dealership told me they do not get the darker graphite wheels because they show the brake dust more.

Sounds good to me. The less graphites out there=the better!

Now that is one stupid salesperson.

I'd have to agree with JRL about Yannis's car....the bodykit looks sharp. It's really not that extroverted when you see it in person, and it makes the car look even less like a stock S60, without looking too riced out. Plus, that car is a HUGE deal.

Also, the graphite pegs look dynamite on that car.

I think the R's are probably the only Volvos that I have ever liked in bright red.

The problem with the body kit is day-to-day driving. It is too damn low in the front. In a few months you WILL trash it on a driveway or speedbump and it will look like $hit.
There has to be certain aspect of practicality with a car, and frankly the factory body kit does not offer it. As for the look of the kit, that all comes down individual taste.
