I'm looking into a 2007 V70R. It's in really good condition with about 110k miles. Is $14,900 a good price?

It's a good price for who is selling it. But I would say around 11-12k would be fair. Pictures and options it has on it would help determine the value.

you could probably find a better deal in the classifieds section here. And since your on the forum im sure you looked at mods already, could probably get one with them already. IMO i wouldnt pay that at all considering i got ym 06 s60r with 59k for 15.9

VR's are always worth a premium over SR's. I would say depending on condition and options, it may be priced more than fairly.

I agree; for a VR, that's a decent price - though I don't like the high mileage, make sure you get service records! For that young of car and that high mileage, I would assume there is plenty of service records since warranty would have been full effect the whole time. (provided it went past 60k > 100k)

Jeeeez... Not sure how you'll be paying for it, but would your bank even want to finance a car for almost $15K that has 110,000 miles +? I've seen prices like this for other high mileage Volvos and given that these cars most certainly will need *something* at that mileage, the most I'd spend is $10 or 11,000. Have you tried cars.com or Auto Trader? Here's a Craigslist find in California for what looks like a clean 2004 with 20,000 less miles for 4K less.. http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/cto/3241303846.html

I just bought a really nice SR with 105K miles for $8300. Find it hard to believe that this is worth $6500 more.

Are you talking about the one for sale in the Minnesota area? Silver?

I paid $13,900 for an 04' with 74k about 3 years ago however as mentioned the V is more of a novelty so the price seems good I guess, have you tried to wiggle it down? I bet you could get to $13,900 as mine was originally $14,900.

Smart move!! I'm assuring you, you will not regret it.
Until the slave cylinder explodes. Then again, it may have the new updated one.........depending on mileage.
