February 20, 2010 - Bringing home my first car

Replaced carpet floor mats with rubber Volvo mats and added a Christian Fish

Custom "S40" front plate

February 24, 2010 - Windows tinted

February 26, 2010 - MojoParts Dash Kit

I wanted the brushed aluminium interior so I went with a MojoParts Dash kit. I thought it was unique at the time, but later I had regrets.... The vinyl stickers didn't line up perfectly and they sat a few millimeters above the surface of the panels.

Before:

After:

March 22, 2010 - V O L V O letters spaced out

April 5, 2010 - NOS cap outlet plug

May 22, 2010 - Custom iPod dock

May 28, 2010 - OEM style spoiler mounted

June 4, 2010 - Volvo 17" Sagitta wheels mounted

July 26, 2010 - Headlights replaced with Philips Ultinon 6000K HID bulbs

October 6, 2010 - The windshield was a little foggy, but was clearing up well with the defroster/wipers. I was just coming up the hill in my neighborhood when the rising sun hit at just the right angle to make the windshield turn completely white. In that 1 second, I hit a parked Chevy Astro.... A real freak accident and completely an accident. Only minor damage to the body of my car, but the front tire got caught and broke the axle; insurance considered it totaled. I walked away fine, there was no damage to the van other than a small dent and a missing panel, and the police wrote it off as an accident with no ticket. All turned out to be a real blessing and with money from insurance, I bought Sequel. I did not intended to buy a nearly identical car, but when Sequel showed up at the local dealership, I had to buy him (the VIN number showed that it was less than 100 cars off the assembly line as Xavier).
