Well, I suspect I know what this means. You know you're going to have to cross-post your NEW build thread here so we can follow you on RennSport or wherever you end up.

It's a 2008 Boxster S (987.1) which has the 3.4L with sport chrono.
35k miles on the clock with a full service history.
White exterior, brown full leather interior, Victor Equipment wheels, and a Cayman rear spoiler.

Lots will be changed in the next few months, my goal is to have it where I want it by CTDX.

First car I have ever owned with a speedometer that shows 200mph. :D

I'll keep this thread going with some of my future upgrades, but the new build thread will reside over on the Porsche forums.

Sweet! Just make sure to leave us a link here so your Volvo homies can follow.

Here's the Planet-9 (more of a C30Crew vibe) build: https://www.planet-9.com/987-cayman...deasweretaken-987-1-s-progression-thread.html

We built a cage, swapped over my Sparco seats and Gforce harnesses, and swapped over my quick release Momo wheel. More details and pictures are in the Porsche's build thread.

sorry to hear about your car, dude
now I feel like I'm the only C30 owner left in america, lol

make sure you save 1950$ for a new clutch that might go out at 45,000 miles

There are a few of us still left...
Does anyone really care about these updates? I can just leave my posts on the Porsche forums and instagram...

Coilovers are on, waiting for the springs to settle before making final adjustments and getting pictures.

I care! But I also follow you on Instagram so it doesn't matter much to me haha

I certainly do, but can follow elsewhere. I hope to be in the Boxster club soon enough.

you have two broken C30s now? I am interested in what you decide to do with them
but you may get alot more support on a porsche forum for porsche mods
you can always post on youtube
Coilovers, camber plates, and adjustable arms installed. Spent days adjusting and testing different camber, toe, and dampening settings. Finally sitting and riding perfectly.

Only thing left on my to-do list is exterior cosmetics. At least until I become fully comfortable with driving this car at its limits and start to desire more.

have you been out to Road Atlanta?
I used to own an FD3S which I built for the track but I have never pushed it anywhere near it's limits
what other RWD sports cars have you owned?
I have owned a few miatas but personally I dont like driving at high speed with the top down
35-45mph is the sweet spot around town for me, everyone waves at you, lol

I drove Road Atlanta in the C30 and didn't really enjoy it. That track is all about high speed and perfect braking for the turns. That back stretch is just a WOT waiting came for the chicane. It'd be more fun in a GT2 or GT3, but not for a hatchback or even my 987S.
Atlanta Motorsports Park is much more technical. You'll still hit speeds well over 100mph, but it's a lot more fun for the lesser powered cars.

The only RWD vehicles I have owned are this 987S and my F150. I've driven a lot of other RWD sports cars, but never pushed them too hard since they weren't mine.
Did a few Dragon runs and Blood mountain runs last weekend. A few more tweaks to the suspension and it'll be perfect. It's getting there! I promised myself I wouldn't order any more parts until after Christmas, so my to-do list will be completed early in the new year.

I opened up the fake grilles in the wheel well liners for better venting from the radiators. Modified on left, stock on right.

The shape of the exit tunnel is designed to flow through the entire open grille. Even the plastic that closed these off was super thin and flimsy in comparison to the rest of the wheel well liner. Not sure what Porsche's logic was for closing them off, maybe to protect the back of the radiator fan from rocks getting kicked up by the tires. But it was obviously engineered for the entire thing to be open.

Nice work on Cooling Brakes more or Keeping them at Temp ~ I Guess they won't get any wetter ~ as You probably don't Follow anyone very close ..

On the Cly. Liner Cracks - did those just get Welded and then Careful Grinding and Re_Honed ? Or what Happened . .

The vents aren't for brake cooling, just for radiator venting. Though I suppose that extra air will pass over the brakes, the brake cooling ducts are fed from under the car onto the bottom of the rotor.

The C30 continues to sit in the back of my garage and the cracked block is waiting to be turned into a coffee table or something.
