When did Karl Malone move overseas??

Get them installed and pictures please!!!
Obviously when Stockton overthrew the attempted alley-oop! Haha.

Love seeing the mods. Great car in blue. Do you use the roof rack often? On my previous car I always left our roof rack in the garage until I needed to use it - which was not often. I think we really only used it to transport Christmas Trees once a year, haha... I disliked the wind noise, and did not like to increase drag on the car for no reason. It looked great, but served no real purpose for us...
Well, I do trail rides every Sat, and used to do roadie the next day.. that is, until my kiddo popped out. Actually I'm ok with the fuel consumption (around 7.9km/L real-world figure). Just that, a bit tired of the whizzing sound (not the usual dull roaring, which is acceptable IMO) at highway speeds. Kinda weird cos I never encounter the whizzing with roof rack + dual bike carriers on my previous V40.

The attached Men's Health article says that a typical roof rack on a V90-size car decreases mpg by seven percent. (There are plenty of other articles and studies if you do a search for "roof rack drag" if you want a more authoritative source than Men's Health Magazine.). For my V90, that would mean 1.8 mpg less. You can do the math and see what that's costing you. Unless you use a roof rack maybe once a week, it's silly to cart it around.

Incidentally, you'd be glad to know a Stealth Hitch is on its way to me. ;)

Rear drops more with Erst (9mm exactly, cos the spring plate is 1mm vs 1cm of the previous Eibach's). Front seems to be slightly lower than the Eibach's, maybe they will settle some more perhaps. Ride quality is noticeably harder, especially for rear seat passengers when going over humps.

Interestingly, ERST also advised to trim the last section of the stock front bump-stops for improved ride quality. But I'll hold for now, as it's still acceptable for me.

As you can see, the VST lip is still at the spray shop.

Interested to hear more about the ERST Springs after another week or so, curious what the front end will do.

Which Eibach springs did you have? Heico? Are you selling your old ones?

Will you be painting the front lip Bursting Blue, or black?

Tbh, I doubt I can tell the difference. Especially since I'm not taking it to the track.

With the Eibachs, the body-roll was already lessened at sweeping corners, compared to stock. Don't think the ERST performs very different to it. I'd actually wanted to take a pic and compare both springs before the mech installed, but I forgot. :(

It's not the one they did for Heico, but their regular pro-kit (E10-84-018-01-20). I'm selling but the freight overseas would be prohibitive.

Gloss black. Thought about wrapping it with 5D carbon vinyl, but afraid it will peel or delaminate from the constant road debris strikes.

Looking sharp as always! Didn't know they sold the lip in FRP, how much is it? I know the CF one is silly expensive. :D

about 750usd for the FRP, and 1060usd for the carbon version.

I'm sure shipping is at least $100 as well due to size, and don't forget about possible foreign transaction fees, yada yada...

Finally had time to install the Brembos today; KWs was done last week of '18. And the results...

Very happy with the way the whole thing turned out, especially like how the contrast of the paintwork with the yellow calipers looks somewhat like the Swede flag!

Is this min lowering with KW? I might buy this setup for ability to set up shocks but not really looking lower it. I found company(Germany) that makes spacers to correct/adjust ride hight

No... I originally didn't use any spring pad behind (they provide 3x 6mm pads (per side) for the user to tweak), but the rear wheel was tucked in.. in the end, I opted to use 1 single pad. As for the front, the springs are adjusted so that the wheel-fender gap is roughly 1 cm more than the rear.

HTH. :)
