Hello everyone,

I am new to Swedespeed, and I am the proud owner of a brand new 2001 Volvo S60 T5! It is Ash Gold with a Taupe leather interior. I got it fully loaded with the exception of the GPS Navigation System. I just traded in a 1998 BMW 328i for this new Volvo. So far, I just love this car! Here is a picture of my new beauty:

Thanks for the compliments! I had a hard time choosing between Ash Gold and Platinum Green. The options that I got on the car were: leather, 17-inch wheels, 5-speed Geartronic, cold weather package, touring package, moonroof, DSTC, and the Audiomax system. I got the car for about $900 over invoice price, which I think is a pretty good deal, considering the only thing that it lacks is the GPS Navigation System.

As far as driving in the snow goes, the car has been great thus far. I don't think the car has used it's DSTC system yet, because I have not seen the little light blinking. But to be fair, I have not driven the car that much yet. I don't think that I am going to buy seperate winter wheels and tires for this car, but we will see. The car came with 235/45/VR17 Pirelli P6 tires, which seem to be pretty good.

It has been snowing on and off almost ever other day St. Paul for a while now, so my wife and I just go to work in her Infiniti QX4, which is superb.

Yes, I know, our cars are almost the same color, but hers is called Tuscan Beige, more golden.
