Went swimming with my keys in my pants. Jumped twice from about 4 meters and dived into water like 3 meters. So basically the keys went twice about 3 meters under water and i was swimming for like 15 minutes.

After that i found my keys in the pocket and didnt even dry them. They work just fine. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

Cell phones are water proof too. After you dunk them in water, they work for about a week or two, then they die.

I went swimming with my key once, it died 2 days later. The chip still worked, but not the buttons.

maybe its about if its salty water or if the water has some stuff in it like in swimming pools etc. I was swimming in a salt free lake.
