Hey everyone first post on this forum...U can find me at VolvoTuning in the 70 forum.....Heres some pics of my car<p> <A HREF="http://www.boomspeed.com/robbie_420/MVC-007S.JPG" TARGET="_blank">http://www.boomspeed.com/robbie_420/MVC-007S.JPG</A> <p> <A HREF="http://www.boomspeed.com/robbie_420/MVC-004S.JPG" TARGET="_blank">http://www.boomspeed.com/robbie_420/MVC-004S.JPG</A><br>This was at the wheel hp...totaly stock....20% loss was est....so hp at engine est 261......current upgrades are SS exuast and piperCross Viper intake...<p> Soon to come upsolute Chip and then possibly a t19 turbo...Might hold off on that and go head and get my downpipe and intercooler......Then i guess i could plan on going with a bigger turbo........Anyone here Done anything With Ateck motor ,,,,Internals???? I know Kai i believe is the name has done the whole deal.....Just let me know what ya think...Later,Rob<BR><BR>

Welcome to Swedespeed, hopefully you are not scared off from my comments to your other post yet. <p>Please do get the name right....it's 19T, not T19. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>You can ask Johann here who has done 19T upgrade on his S60, but that's the thing though...he has a S60. From what I have heard b/c manifold position is a bit different on the MY2000(?) V70R, which the 19T was first used, than on a C70 or regular S/V70 T5s, it's not going to be a straight forward conversion.<p>But if you really want go all out, I seriously don't see the point sticking with this factory 19T setup. Too bad, you weren't ready for the turbo I was selling. There's really no way around it, there's always going to physical limit to things, just can't expect to push 400hp out of that small turbo. <p>Plan out more carefully, so you don't go around swithing turbo every once awhile.

<br> Yeah i see what u are saying about going with a 19T ....Im going to have to upgrace internals before really going with a bigger turbo....Even tho i am willing to spend a good amount of money to get the power i want i cant drop 5 grand down at the moment......Kai was did it cost to do ur internal upgrades,,,doesnt have to be a exact price just something close.....did u go with a lower compression piston?? What exacty do i need to get over the 325hp hump...is that the max Hp that i can go with on stock internals????? Also did u have to modify ur fuel system????<p> Lol...I havent ran off yet....some of my past posts might have come off the wrong way...So my bad guys.....Anyway i cant get enough info for my car over at volvotuning.....so kai ur my metor i guess i should say...Thanks and take it easy Later,Rob

Nice to see it that you made it over here to the C70 section.. Well welcome you will most likely find what you need here. Bye the way Kai you selling a turbo if so what is it and price please!!!!

I was asking around, no one seemed to be interested or planned to have their cars to perform at that level......so sold it to another person who was interested.

2 cars with bend rods in my area.<br>1 running 1.7 bar on stock IC and then change to aftermarket IC and bang, 5 bend rods.<br>This was a rally car running gravel tires and probably having a lot of grip.<br>The other told me he was playing with the scramble boost mode and suddenly peaked to 1.8 bar full load at low RPM.<br>Piston pins, rods and bearings gone.<br>I think the person will speak out when the time comes, engine change is happening this week.<br>My car did peak at 1,8 bar without problems but the boost came on in a neat fashion and at higher RPM.<p>It looks like all of a sudden high boost which can deliver good load at low RPM without anywhere to go bends the rods.<br>I have been told, not confirmed, engines after '97 are stronger.<br>These should be the B5234Tx designated engines instead of the T alone...??<br>Looks like the shortened wastegate hacks are the real killers here. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emsmile.gif" BORDER="0">

Thanks for the info Kai.........I believe im going to use upsolute for my ecu upgrade...There chips run around a Bar of Boost...he said between 14.5 and 15.0. <p> now with a chip and my exuast and intake i hope to be around 290-300hp at the engine.......considering that doesnt include a new Intercooler and Downpipe....U have a Ateck IC dont u??? <br> <br>With the downpipe should i go with a race Cat or not.....<br>I belive i can get one from SCT...<p>I know what u mean abouty EXACT HP limits...Iv heard anywhere from 300 to 350....Me and Carlos were talking about that for a little bit..i agree that it all depends on tuning and how i make the power.,..I know alot of people talk about doing stuff and never do it....Im glad u had the guts to do something outragous that most people would laugh and say it couldnt be done....I also want to get to the point u are at...i hope to learn alot from u and everyone else,.....I also will bring ideas and research to the table..<br> <br> If u havent seen my post on Volvotuning about The NX Ncooler system.....<br><A HREF="http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=20279&cat_id=1&cat_name=Nitrous%20Oxide&sc_id=1&sc_name" TARGET="_blank">http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?pid=20279&cat_id=1&cat_name=Nitrous%20Oxide&sc_id=1&sc_name</A>= <br> <br> Check it out man.....iv got with some mechs and some other people that do NOS work....As u know my IC is sandwiched between the A/C condenser and the radiator.
