Do you recognize the tune it's whistling, haha. Could be coolant system pressure escaping. More info would be helpful, is this happening while engine is still running or after you shut it off or both how long does the whistling last?

The ECU fan, not the radiator fan.

the car is still on when it is whistling, it stops when i turn it off but only then. Only after I have been driving it for a while too. Is this a problem? The car doesnt overheat, no loss of performance, nothing other than be really annoying to me. No one else has ever mentioned anything, its just annoying to me.

You might want to try a trick I read about a while back in another thread... drive enough you're pretty confident it's going to make the sound, park, pop the hood, and use the cardboard tube from a roll of paper towels like a "telescope" for your ear while covering your other ear. In this case, you're not trying to get a zoom from the tube shape.. but instead a narrower field of view.
I know it sounds crazy, but it might help you at least localize the source. Maybe just do it where nobody else can see.
