Hi all,
Didn't see much discussed about replacing the stock OE HUs, so I like to share my setup.
Headunit: JVC 2DIN KW-AVX805 DVD HU
Amps: Lanzar Digital 4chn(soon to go), ARC Audio 2 Chn(bridged for subwoofer)
Speakers: MB Quart Premium Series 6.5" Components(Front), MB Quart Discus Series 6.5" Components(Rear), Alpine Center Channel Speaker, Pioneer Shallow Mount 12" Subwoofer
Misc: 02 x Eclipse Headrest Monitor
Accessories: JVC iPod Adaptor connected to 30GB iPod, 160GB 2.5" HDD connected to rear USB(contains 100+gb of movies)
Pictures
Center Console with new faceplate(headunit not mounted)
Headunit playing music from iPod
Headunit reading & playing DivX movie from external USB HDD
External HDD & iPod stored in glove compartment
Steering Wheel mounted remote (Orignal don't work anymore, can't find information to tap the controls for reuse)
Headrest Monitors (Close up)
View from the boot
The JVC Headunit has the following features:-
1) USB connectivity on the rear(able to play/display DivX, MP3, JPG, etc)
2) Additional iPod adaptor was added to the headunit for iPod connectivity
3) SD Card slot behind flip down display(able to play MP3 & JPG)
4) 5.1 channel RCA output
5) Built-in DTS, Dobly 5.1 decoder
6) Basic Time Alignment & EQ
Basically, more then enough features and ability to fulfil most will need from the headunit
* Fixed image links which work intermittently
